Background

Challenges
1. The working area of waste management is large, and the tasks assigned to the workers are also heavy. Besides, the monitoring of sanitation operations is not comprehensive, and it is impossible to ensure that the workers properly dispose of the garbage as required.
2. There are different categories of garbage, and the disposal method for each category is different. It is easy to make mistakes using manual identification and classification.
3. There is no effective recording and monitoring of each link of garbage circulation and treatment. It is impossible to analyze the actual operation situation to the related person in charge. Thus, it is tough to supervise.
4. In the absence of an effective supervision mechanism, there are cases where the garbage is not cleared in time, and the bulk of complaints are received.
5. Management can not track and manage the trash effectively. Thus, damage cannot be controlled in time.

In response to the Tecnomovilidad requirements for trash management, Chainway combines RFID technology, the Internet of Things, and terminals to configure the Chainway C71 UHF handheld terminal to read and manage the trash intelligently. Firstly, all trash cans in the city are linked with RFID tags, and the labels are attached to the outer shell of the trash can. During the subsequent transportation, storage, processing, and other links, the management staff scan the tags outside the trash can through the Chainway C71 handheld terminal. Workers can quickly identify and obtain all the information of the trash bin and upload the data to the management system in real-time. The management system automatically identifying the identity of the food waste collection bin, reading data, capturing videos, and positioning routes during the collection and transportation process. 1. 2. The handheld terminal automatically counts whether the trash can is cleared and transported on time, which strengthens the daily supervision of the trash removal work.
3. Through the exchange of data, the trash can removal time & frequency is shared with the digital management platform. The dispatch command center implements 24-hour functional identification, positioning, tracking, monitoring, and scheduling for the city’s trash can removal, making management easier Efficient.
