Elevating Water Utility Operations in Mongolia with Chainway P100 Industrial Tablet

Background
As Mongolia’s capital city, Ulaanbaatar depends on stable water supply and wastewater management systems to support daily operations. The Ulaanbaatar Water Supply and Sewerage Authority (USUG) is responsible for maintaining these essential municipal services.

Solution
USUG equipped field personnel with the rugged Chainway P100 AI 5G Industrial Tablet for mobile inspections, equipment data collection, reporting, and real-time communication.
For outdoor utility work, the P100 supports long-range barcode scanning up to 10 meters for faster capture of asset codes, equipment labels, and inspection points. Its 11-inch FHD 1920×1200 display with 800-nit brightness improves visibility under strong light, while 1.2m/4ft drop resistance, a 10,000mAh removable battery, hot-swapping, and 27W fast charging help support long shifts.
Powered by an AI-enabled octa-core 5G platform and Android 14 (AER), the P100 enables staff to access work orders, upload photos, submit records, and synchronize data with backend systems in real time, supporting smoother field-office coordination.
