Background
As Mongolia’s capital city, Ulaanbaatar depends on stable water supply and wastewater management systems to support daily operations. The Ulaanbaatar Water Supply and Sewerage Authority (USUG) is responsible for maintaining these essential municipal services.

USUG equipped field personnel with the rugged Chainway P100 AI 5G Industrial Tablet for mobile inspections, equipment data collection, reporting, and real-time communication.
For outdoor utility work, the P100 supports long-range barcode scanning up to 10 meters for faster capture of asset codes, equipment labels, and inspection points.
