Background
In the production process of wire products at a factory in Vietnam, the traditional fixed scanning method of QR codes cannot be used due to the continuous transformation of product forms and structures. In order to ensure production efficiency and product quality, the factory decided to adopt an automated production line management solution based on Chainway UR4 and SR160 RFID scanners to control the production and quality tracing of the entire production line.

Solution
Chainway and its partners have jointly developed an RFID-based automated production traceability system solution for wire products, based on user needs and the challenges faced. The solution involves installing RFID tags on all products on the production line and binding product information to these tags. Chainway UR4 fixed RFID readers are installed at the corresponding process positions on the production line to automatically collect and upload product tag information to the RFID control system in real-time. The RFID control system completes data collection, analysis, and storage based on the process flow, and then uploads the final results to the production control system, enabling real-time control of the product production process and traceability management of product quality.
Chainway SR160 RFID scanners are deployed for product management in the storage process. After the production of wire products is completed, workers print and paste barcodes for these products, and then use Chainway SR160 to read the product barcode or RFID information for product binding, achieving intelligent storage management.
